a little about me
I’m a millennial artist, a mother of two, and a firm believer that creativity isn’t a luxury—it’s a lifeline. My work is rooted in the idea that art heals, just like books heal with their magical stories, offering us space to process, escape, and reconnect with ourselves..
Trying to balance motherhood and creativity has shaped how I see the world. I know what it feels like to be pulled in a hundred directions, to put yourself last, and to forget that you’re allowed to take up space. My art is an invitation back to that space—to pause, to feel, and to create without pressure.
I don’t believe you need formal training to be an artist. Quiet the opposite; creativity belongs to everyone. Whether it’s paint, words, music or quiet moments of imagination, making something—anything—is powerful. It’s how we come back to ourselves, and I want to share that with you.
Through my work, I hope to remind others that their creativity matters, their voice matters, and that even small moments of self-expression can be deeply transformative.
a little more…
I had the opportunity to attend art school at Endicott College in the sweet town of Beverly, MA. I graduated in 2007 with a Visual Communications degree having had the most wonderful experiences, including studying Art History for a semester in Florence, Italy. One of my favorite classes I took there was Painting Conservation, where we restored 100’s of year old paintings. It was magical + incredible, I’ll never forget how delicious Italy smelled and how it made me feel so alive! A lot of the peace + romance that is portrayed in my art comes from this experience. When I was little I loved being outside, being barefoot and playing with my two sisters. We’re still the best of friends and are each really creative in our own ways. My parents still live in our childhood home about 20 minutes away which makes it so fun to bring our family there to visit.
